Resonating The Bandung Call-The 1955 Asia-Africa Conference
IN Bandung, 60 years ago, calls for freedom and equality rang out. For the first time, representatives of minority groups gathered and pledged to work together towards a goal of independence and development. The 1955 Asia-Africa Conference can be said to be one of Indonesia's greatest diplomatic achievements. With the spirit and determination to unite, Indonesia led disenfranchised peoples to seek a better world.
