THE suggestion made by Achmad Kalla, Director of PT Bukaka, that the government should build a coalfired electricity-generating plant network for the State Electricity Company, has become a controversy, On the one hand, the suggestion attracted suspicions of nepotism—Achmad is the brother of Vice President Jusuf Kalla. On the other, it's a good idea because it could greatly help our electricity-generating industry which, as yet, depends on oil for its fuel.
