Indonesia needs a strong leader to solve its current crises. However, 56 years on from independence, a serious danger is looming: the country is running short of leaders. The monolithic system of the New Order has poisoned all the seeds of leadership. It's about time we provide the field, fertilize the seeds and raise future national leaders.
