SINGAPORE Technologies Telemedia (STT) sold Indosat to the Government of Qatar. What is surprising is not the staggering transaction value of Rp15 trillion, but rather the status of STT at the time of the sale.       When the Business Competition Supervisory Commission (KPPU) declared STT guilty of Indonesian anti-monopoly regulations last year, STT promptly appealed to the Supreme Court. The KPPU considers the sale of Indosat to Qatar is unethical because the cross-ownership conflict is not yet resolved.
