PRESIDENT Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono eventually selected 34 ministers for the second United Indonesia Cabinet. In a surprising event, Hatta Rajasa is appointed Coordinating Minister for the Economy. It is obvious that Hatta Rajasa played an important role in the filling of a number of ministerial posts. The former Minister/State Secretary recommended several names to important posts. He also succeeded in placing three deputies from his party, the National Mandate Party, in strategic ministerial posts.
