Studies reveal the 7,000 square meters of land is overpriced and the ownership deed seems problematic. More shocking is the revelation that a hefty 40 percent of the total purchase value was paid in advance, in record time, with very little due diligence. The upshot? The check was cashed and disappeared into nameless bank accounts. A series of questionable transactions that may indicate this could be just another big scam.
