The Departed Deputy Attorney General for Special Crimes, Kemas Yahya Rahman, and Director of Investigations, Muhammad Salim, were removed from their posts last week. They are suspected of collusion in the Rp6.1 billion bribery case involving prosecutor Tri Urip Gunawan and Artalyta Suryani, a businesswomen known to be a close ally of Sjamsul Mursalim, who recived Bank Indonesia Liquidity Assistance (BLBI) funds. As Urip's superiors, they are allegedly involved in the bribery case.
