The Constitutional Court rejected Prabowo Subianto’s claims of fraud in the recent election, quashing his presidential aspirations and paving the way for Joko Widodo to be inaugurated next month. In preparation to take over the reins of power, Jokowi has begun a program of transition and drafted an ambitious agenda that seeks to address some of his campaign promises. The new government’s biggest challenge will be to manage the voters’ high expectations.
