Above The Flaw President Joko Widodo has nominated Budi Gunawan as candidate to be the next police chief. This comes as no surprise, despite his involvement in an unresolved case on police offi cers’ fat bank accounts. But he is known to be close to PDI-P chairperson Megawati Soekarnoputri, serving as her aide when she was president from 2001 to 2004. Gunawan’s nomination, however, still needs the DPR’s approval.
