ISIS claimed responsibility for the recent attack in the heart of Jakarta, but police maintain it could well be the act of home-grown terrorists, albeit with linkages to ISIS. Experts say as more local terror groups vie for recognition from ISIS, there could be more of such attacks around the country. Are the police and other law enforcement agencies prepared to fi ght this new and more dangerous threat? Yet, serious preventive measures do not seem to be part of the agenda to combat terrorism.
