ALTHOUGH he topped most surveys on 2014 presidential candidates, it did not mean Joko Widodo would automatically get the endorsement of his party, the Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P). A movement is afoot within the party to groom an alternative to the Jokowi phenomenon. Meanwhile, PDI-P chairperson herself, Megawati Sukarnoputri has formed a Team of Eleven to come up with a strategy to win the upcoming elections. One scenario is the Mega-Jokowi ticket. The big question is, who will get to run?
