A Novel Approach To Fighting Crime   THE National Police is back on track to arrest KPK investigator Novel Baswedan over the same case: the shooting of a suspected thief in 2004. The case fi rst appeared after this anti-graft commission exposed massive corruption in the purchase of driving test simulators by the police's Traffi c Division in 2012. Tempo retraces the Novel case by interviewing witnesses and poring over documents, concluding that there is no case against Novel Baswedan. Could this be a perpetuation of the campaign to undermine the KPK, following the indictment of Comr. Gen. Budi Gunawan for bribery?
